Stayed at the Horse & Groom for 2 nights (NYEve & NYDay). It wasn't our 1st visit but as usual the rooms, service & food were wonderful. We were invited not only by the team but the locals to join in their new year celebrations, where we were made to feel incredibly welcome and had a wonderful time. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. The pub is clean, warm & friendly. Breakfast is great, highly recommend the bacon butty! The food & cocktails never disappoint! The rooms are spacious, cosy and I hate leaving ! If you're looking for a good meal or a bit of escapism, The H&G is the perfect pub in the most beautiful location.

We stayed here for a short relaxing break. The food, rooms and service were all perfect. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Amazing food, lovely staff, and a wonderful venue. Absolutely worth a visit if you enjoy Cotswold villages. Really cosy interior with character and charm. Highly recommended! Thanks to the staff, it's always a treat whenever I visit!

I brought my Mum to this pub last week and we had the best meal and experience ever! The service and staff were lovely, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect! We have booked again for this week!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the horse and groom! The food was to die for, the room was cosy and clean, the building was gorgeous and in a great spot to explore the cotswolds. To top it all off, the staff were so absolutely magnificent! Great service, so friendly and welcoming, and attentive to our every need. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our experience so delightful we’ll never forget it!

Everything about our stay has been perfect! From check-in to our last day. Excellent wine list, lovely cocktails, great staff (hardworking and so friendly!), and the most delicious menu. I'm sad to have missed out on eating lunch at the restaurant. But if you have a chance to eat dinner or breakfast here, be prepared for an exciting, culinary adventure! If you don't get the chance to stay the night, definitely book in to eat at the restaurant and come hungry. I can't get enough of the food, and I am looking forward to making my way here again!

From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed. A special shoutout to the manager, Kes, who sets the tone for such a positive atmosphere. Kes went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, taking the time to check in throughout our visit. It's rare to encounter such a hands-on manager who clearly leads by example and inspires their team to do the same. All the other staff there were equally fantastic. I want to commend Sophie, Rachel, Summer, Harry, and Dani, who were all on duty during our stay. Each one of them was incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile, and eager to help with anything we needed. What really stood out was how genuine the service felt. It wasn't just about doing a job; it was clear that the staff truly cared about making sure every guest had the best possible experience. Their warmth and hospitality created such a welcoming environment that we felt like we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel. Having stayed here a few times, I can say that, from the impeccable service to the thoughtful gestures throughout, The Horse and Groom Inn truly exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a stay where the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel valued and at home, this is the place to be. We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend. The pub was incredibly clean, well presented and nothing was too much for the staff. The hotel room was immaculate and felt luxury. Would highly recommend and would stay again in the future.

Myself and my partner stayed here for the weekend last weekend for my best friends wedding, the staff were lovely, the manager went above and beyond for us, nothing was ever too much. The food was lovely ( coming from a picky eater) and the rooms are really nice, spacious and clean. We stayed in two different rooms over the weekend; Avon & little Somerfield. Both rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are huge too so getting ready each morning isn’t really cramped. There was a mini fridge, bits for tea & coffee and a welcome pack in each room too! We will definitely be coming back, I couldn’t recommend staying here more! Thank you to Kes and all of the staff for a wonderful weekend!

Went for a Sunday roast dinner and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Accommodated a table of 5 with a dog and a pram at short notice. The food itself was delightful and I am sure it won’t be long before we return there again.
